Everybody knows Ellitott Erwitt and it’ not only his photographs that are full of cryptical humour, it’s also the person himself. It’s always a pleasure to read or listen to an Erwitt interview. I just discovered a little audio file on his very own website that’s worth listening to ( > About > Audio). There are even translations of it in various languages (e.g. German). Unfortunately the latin version is still missing.

“Berlin has got a large number of (very different) districts. What I really like about the city is the fact that I can always decide what type of street photography I want to do, simply by leaving the subway at a different station.” – Guido Steenkamp. Just found this interview with him about photographing on the streets of Berlin.
